Every artist has a selection of music they have recorded that has stood the test of time and become forever associated with that artist. There is no doubt that the early recordings made by those whose career started in the 1950s have become legendary in the world of popular music. For Elvis Presley there are the classic recordings he made at Sun Records in Memphis, and who can forget Chuck Berry’s recordings for the Chess Label in Chicago, while for Cliff Richard those early tracks that he cut at EMI’s studios in Abbey Road in London have gone down in British rock ’n’ roll history.
